BOY SCOUT EARNS EAGLE BADGE
Payson Roundup, March 15, 2005

Boy Scout Troop 7354's Thomas Borkowski recently earned the rank of Eagle with the completion of his service project. The project, under the direction of Borkowski was completed with help of from family, friends and fellow scouts in October. The Whispering Hope Ranch, with new facilities under construction to host disabled youth, was in need of new permanent shelters for their many animals. Borkowski designed and gathered materials for the project, and along with the construction, amassed more than 130 total hours spent by him and volunteers. Thomas Borkowski thanks Lumbermens for their very generous contributions to the building. Also, thanks to Vince Palandri of Vinrose Corporation and Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber company for the contributions to his Eagle project at the Whispering Hope Ranch.
